The iconic Tufty-Time modular Sofa from B&B Italia is a modular design to easily expand and rearrange, where the focus becomes the cozy upholstery evocative of traditional tufted seats. Designer Patricia Urquiola’s work seeks to connect the familiar with the unexplored. Urquiola recalls the familiar here by referencing capitonné and Chesterfield upholstery. This sofa’s removable cover combines practicality with high-end design. While low profile, the sofa raises gently in its backrests and armrests for generous support. Short, hidden legs give the piece a subtle floating appearance, thus enhancing its decorative qualities.
