Set of amazing and iconic Sphere chairs by Boris Tabacoff for Mobilier Modulaire Moderne France 1970s as low lounge chairs.
The epitome of space age, these amazing transparent plexiglass and chromed steel chairs. The plexiglass shells connected by metal bolts to the frame and the single arm foot makes it seem like the chairs are floating in space.
The chairs feature reupholstered leatherette cream white pillows.
The chairs are in good condition but one of the chairs has a crack in the plexiglass near the bolts. A picture is added for details. The chair is fully stabile at this point but this is something mentioned nonetheless. The other chair is in damage free condition. The chrome is in good condition with some traces of use and the pillows reupholstered.
