About the item
Cassina presented the Sesann system by Gianfranco Frattini in 1970. The project included an armchair, a two-seater, a three-seater sofa, and a coffee table. Its standout feature is an external chrome steel structure that gives the polyurethane foam padding a shape.
It reminds another one of Cassina’s bestsellers: the Soriana lounge set. The most significant difference with Soriana was the presence of armrests. Furthermore, it lacks buttons tightening the upholstery, making the design more amorphous.
The sofa here concerns a stunning example of ocre yellow bouclé with chromed frame.
The sofa still bears the original Cassina logo.
