About the item

A future classic in the making; the Moel by Inga Sempé was designed as a contemporary approach to an encapsulated seat with high flexible side- and backrests.

In typical Ligne Roset fashion, the sofa is royally padded in shaped foam, built on top of a wooden frame. The true distinctive point are the flexible padded back – and armrests and the strongly patterned upholstery.

The Moels have a zipper down construction so that the outside shell can be replaced at any given moment.

The Moels in question here are earlier versions, as attested by the zipper construction, coming from first owner in France. The set features a grey fabric shell and leather upholstery, fuchsia for the armchairs and black for the sofa. The contrast between leather colours comes out really well according to us.

The original Ligne Roset labels are present.

About its condition

The set is in very good and original condition with some slight patina on the leather due to usage.
