Early number LC1 ponyskin armchair by Le Corbusier et al for Cassina 1970s, set of 2

Iconic basculant chair design from the bauhaus period by Le Corbusier et al,  issued by Cassina.

Very early numbers in near sequential order; 5168 and 5182, dating back to the 70s, definitely collectors items.

Featuring the well desired triple color ponyskin upholstery, with chrome frame.

Original Cassina gravings in frame, providing full authenticity.

The chair is in good original condition with some wear on the ponyskin on the seat and backrest and some patina on the armrests, although still fully functional and non-torn. Traces of use in line with the age of the chairs.
