About the item

A set of very special midcentury dining chairs.

The set is of unknown origin however the style is resembling of Erik Buch, Aksel Bender Madsen or Pieter de Bruyne. It’s assumed the chairs are Dutch considering they come from a Dutch home however this isn’t certain.

Typical for this design is the floating leatherette/skai seat and leaning, apart from the frame, which reminds a bit to Erick Buch and Aksel Bender Madsen. On the other hand, the teak frame is reminiscing of Erik Buch and Pieter de Bruyne.

The chairs are build in full teak wood and black skai.

Most likely produced in the 60s.

About its condition

The chairs are in good solid condition however with some wear visible. One of the chairs has an old repair on the leaning part. As well, the same chair has some damage to the upholster fabric below the seat. Not visible if the chair is normally used but nonetheless damaged. As well as some other general wear to the skai fabric.
