About the item
This stunning set of Rainer Daumiller pine chairs are of the well-known design by Daumiller. The chairs have been designed in a brutalist fashion by Rainer Daumiller in the 70s for Hirtshals Sawmills Denmark.
The chairs feature a solid pine frame and the design consists of 4 central columns that have presence from top to bottom. Around the 4 columns, a central seat has been constructed. The seat has an ergonomical shape therefore provides for optimal comfort. The top part consist of an integrated armrest. Despite the naked wood, the chairs are remarkably comfortable.
The chairs have been build extremely well and are meant to last multiple lifetimes.
The original markings are still present below the chair.
