Brutalist pine dining chair by Rainer Daumiller for Hirtshals Savvaerk 1970s, set of 2
About the item
This stunning set of Rainer Daumiller pine chairs are of the well-known design by Daumiller. The chairs have been designed in a brutalist fashion by Rainer Daumiller in the 70s for Hirtshals Sawmills Denmark.
The chairs feature a solid pine frame and the design consists of 2 central columns that serve as the back feet. The backrest can be fully adjusted vertically.
The solid pine seat, carved to the body for optimal comfort, has a floating effect due to the manner of how the feet are positioned.
The chairs have been build extremely well and are meant to last multiple lifetimes.
The original markings are still present below the chair.
About its condition
The chairs are in good general condition with some visible discolouration.
