About the item
Contemporary design by the German designer couple Markus Jehs and Jurgen Laub for Cassina. Designed in 2002, the Blox is a modern interpretation on classic designs released by Cassina such as the LC armchair series from Le Corbusier e.a., the Le Mura from Mario Bellini or even the Duc series by Mario Bellini.
The armchairs have a visible base in chromed steel. The cover, in leather, is completely removable through the innovative upholstery system of this model that allows for very simple removal and replacement. The sides (armrests) can be easily removed to do so.
The armchairs have a very clean and minimalistic look, with a cubical stance, but built in typical Cassina fashion, very sturdy and qualitative. The chairs in question feature anthracite leather and the original Cassina labels are present below.
About its condition
In very good and slightly used condition, with slight traces of use on the leather and chrome.
