T112 stone and metal coffee table by Horst Bruning for Kill International 1970s
COMING IN SOON
A design classic from the well-known Horst Bruning; the T-series were a statement of German modernism, sober and minimalist designs combined with unique detailing. Crafted during the 1970s or 1980s in the highest sense of quality by the renowned and now defunct German brand Kill International.
The T112 in question is the biggest table of the series in 152 cm width, with pagode shaped double edged feet in polished steel with visible bolts that follow into a rounded edged polished steel frame with positioning of the feet slightly inwards. The stone slat lays on top of the frame, and can be taken off if desired.
The T112 in question features a solid 1 cm thick hard stone top, which was a rare chosen option back in the days, as most T-series feature a glass top. The slatted hard stone has an uneven pattern, a none polished finish and variation in greyish-white colouring, giving it a slightly industrial look and feel.
The table is in very good vintage and original condition, both the frame and the top, with the top having a few minor traces of use that are hardy noticeable.
